Late dramatic winner moves Berwick up to fifth place

Berwick came back from  2-0 down with 17 minutes to go to seal a dramatic victory late on at Shielfield yesterday courtesy of Michael McKenna’s winner which followed a brace from Aaron Murrell who also was nominated Man of the Match by the match-day sponsors and also via the Social Media vote despite only being on the pitch for the last quarter of the game.

The win puts Berwick in  fifth place on nine points, level with next weekend’s opponents Stenhousemuir who have a better goal difference. Elsewhere Stirling Albion returned to winning ways beating second place Montrose and opening a four point gap at the top while Cowdenbeath drop to bottom place as Edinburgh City won for a second week in a row.
